Research Commentary

Our research contains articles from A Level students, university students and practitioners within the legal sector. We provide insights into cases such as the factors that allow certain pieces of evidence to be allowed in a court room, whilst other pieces of evidence might not be allowed (ruled as 'inadmissible').

We consider the incredible differences between Civil cases and Criminal cases, for example in civil cases children under 5 years old are considered to be 'unreliable' witnesses, whereas in criminal cases children aged from 2 years old are considered to be 'reliable' witnesses.

Law covers a vast amount of everyday life, and yet knowledge of legislation and court procedures are not well known by the general public.

We publish commentaries from lawyers, solicitors, barristers and psychologists to gain insight into their involvement in cases and consider 'a day in the life of' their work roles. This is so important for students to gain an understanding of the practicalities of law at the earliest opportunity, from college and sixth-form studying onwards.
